Wool batting serves as an excellent soft core for thermal insulation between layers of fabric, making it perfect for various applications such as felting, pillows, quilts, duvets, toppers, mattresses, cushions, and quilting!

Virgin wool is naturally imbued with antimicrobial properties, dust-mite resistance, softness, resilience, and the remarkable ability to maintain body temperature naturally. The "virgin" distinction signifies that this wool has never been used before, surpassing recycled wool in strength and quality.

Our Virgin wool adheres to the highest standards for both health and sustainability.

  • Wool has a natural ability to inhibit the growth of mold, mildew, and bacteria.

  • Wool regulates body temperature naturally and efficiently wicks away moisture.

  • Naturally, it is antimicrobial, repelling dust mites and resisting mildew.

  • Wool is biodegradable.

  • Please note: Some of our products may retain their natural scent for a couple of weeks. While most people cherish this scent, individual preferences may vary. What's essential to know is that I Sleep Simple exclusively employs natural and organic ingredients in the production process, with absolutely no fragrances, chemicals, or dyes added to fibers and materials.

High quality wool and the seller was wonderful to work with. There was a minor mixup with the order, and they responded immediately and fixed the issue. Wonderful product and service!

The material was wider than the duvet that I made, trimming is much easier than filling in voids, so I was very happy with it. There is a sheep smell, but I like that too; hopefully it doesn't go away.

Excellent wool, this has less of a musty smell vs other wool I've gotten on etsy. It is still pure wool though, you can always burn a few fibers to tell. Arrived neatly rolled up.

Excellent quality. 5lbs came just as described in good packaging. Definitely smells a bit like sheep and will need to air out for a few days. I'm super pleased and would buy again. Thank you.

I have bought another portion of organic wool from another seller that I loved, but wasn't sure what to expect. This product is another wonderful portion of wool, which we used inside a duvet cover for my son's bed. It's not as big as I thought (ad says "up to 88 inches and 60 feet" - it's nowhere near that big, but I'm glad it fit his full bed, and then also there is some excess to use in pillows and smaller items). I appreciate the clean, organic wool for our home to keep us safe from toxins and pollutants. Thanks again!

I made a pillow with this exceptionally high quality wool batting, and it is hands down the most comfortable pillow I've ever slept on! I was ready to splurge for an organic wool topper to add some additional comfort to my very firm floor 3 inch Japanese mattress, but with just the addition of this pillow, I am perfectly comfortable and aligned, and will be able to save the almost $300 I was ready to spend on a new topper!

The batting is really good. It does have a slight sheep smell to it, but I wash dirty fleeces by hand myself so I don't mind. I'd definitely buy again.
